I have little information on my Gr-grandmother Mariah's family and would appreaciate any help. She was a sister to your Grandmother Roxie. As for searching the Mercer County cemetery's, I used Findagrave.com and had some luck. Several cemeteries are on private property, others were so overgrown the search is difficult. We looked in 2006 for Oscar Harrison Pennington & Sarah (Octavia or Gusteva)Thompson Pennington but had no luck. Locals were helpful but few knew family history.
