Hello Robert Perry and other listers, Can't be of much help to you. I am related to the Meador/Meadows line, but our connection is back several more generations. I might be of some help further back. My connection is through Martin Newton Swinney and Nancy Meador (ggg grandparents, their son being Green Meador Swinney who married Louisa Peters (gg grandparents), and their daughter Albina Virginia Swinney who m. William C. Gray (my g grandparents). My Meador line would be as such: Thomas Meads (1612-1655) Thomas "Orphan" Meadows (1635-1661, w/Susan Hoskins John Meadows (1658-1721), w/Mrs. Awbrey Jonas Meador (1698-1768), w/Frances Hudgens Josiah Meador (1736-1792), w/Lavinia Moody Josiah Meador, II, w/Judith Lilly, I and daughter mentioned in above paragraph - Nancy Meador, h/Martin Newton Swinney Willing to trade information if you think it might be of help to you. And willing to communicate with those who might be connected to this line of Meador/Meadows, Swinney, Peters, or Gray. Don't have very much on my Lilly line. Would like to know more about the wives mention above who are married to the Meador/Meadows men (also listed above). Thanks, Jim of Okmulgee Robert Perry wrote: > Does anyone have any information on the children and descendants of Mary > Ann Meador (19 Oct 1847-12 Sep 1887) who was married to Samuel Sylvester > Barker. > > Mary Ann was the daughter of Josiah "Shack" Meador (1824-1858) and > Elizabeth Meadows (1827-1882) > > Mary Ann and Samuel Sylvester Barker had two children that I know about: > > I.
