The second one you mentioned (ECL Flick & Ann Hale) is a great lead and I may also request a copy of that one as well - thank you! I did know about Mercer County being formed from part of Giles County but didn't know about the Tazewell addition. You're absolutely right - just knowing what a place used to be is helpful in locating ancestors. You've been a great help and I truly appreciate it.
