Dear Mercer County List members: We now have two volunteers to work on collecting tombstone data for Monte Vista Cemetery..... myself and Barbara Duncan (see below) Is anyone else interested and able? I believe it would take a minimum of ten volunteers to make this a viable project. Volunteers would work as they had the time, with no pressing time schedule. I'll be glad to be the chairman or coordinator. I think each volunteer would take responsibility for a certain section of the cemetery. Essentially, it would involve walking from grave to grave in that section, writing down the data from each tombstone, and typing it after returning home.
