James Roy Welch, b. 1904, son of Oatis Welch and Leatha Lyons, married Mary Elizabeth Gunnoe, dau of Hansford Gunnoe and Mary Halstead (maybe from Boone Co)and named their firstborn son Mitchell Clayton Welch. There is also another Mitchell Clayton Welch buried in the Ward Cemetery in Kanawha Co.
