Arthur, am I interested, you bet. I have been looking for any of his family for a long time. I talked to Eddie and he is supposed to get me some information on Jesse and his brothers and sisters but haven't heard from him yet. Jesse Terry was my grandmothers brother by Joseph Anderson Mabe's second wife Sophia Simmons Hicks Mabe. Josseph had a lot of children by his first wife Oney Martin that lived in that area also but I have found only one. Dan Jenkins in Alabama is a descendant of John Henry Mabe from Joseph and he has furnished a lot of information on his line. I would like to swap information about the Mabes if you will. I have a web page listing my grandparents up to date but don't have documentation too far back. Look and see if you are interestd. http://www.familytreemaker.con/users/s/a/n/GENE1-0001.html Clifford Sands ---------- > From: Arthur Davidson <[email protected]> > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [WVMERCER] Mercer County History > Date: Thursday, January 20, 2000 8:29 AM > > Clifford::I personally knew Jessie Terry MABE, and, lived within 1,000 ft. > of him in > 1940-1941.
