Well, I'm short. Mom always said Amanda was her favorite granny, and that she could stand under the arm of her son, my grandfather. Yesterday my very young nieces came over and I heard a sound like china banging, the little one was touching my birds! I told her those were very old, and that they belonged to my great granny, who was her g-g granny. I think I liked them when I was 4 too, I always told Mom when she died I wanted the birds. When we got home from the funeral my sister went and got the birds and handed them to me. They are very special. Sandy in Florida
