He and three sons came to America about the year 1755, landing in New York. Jess Hall, son of Barnabas, born March 22, 1760 died after August 8, 1848. Jess Hall married Phoebe Wilbur their children were: Freeburn Hall (m) Catherine Pate on April 27, 1807 David Hall (m) Abegail Iddings John Hall (m) Sally Pate Charles Hall (m) Elizabeth Iddings Phoebe Hall (m) Mr. Morris Susannah Hall (m) Mr. McNealy Polly Hall (m) Eli Rumburg Lydia Hall (m) Bartley Martin John L. Hall son of Charles and Elizabeth (m) Nellie O'Conner on Oct 11, 1839 They had nine children 1 Cornelius born Sept 7, 1840 may have died in civil war 2 Booker Hall [listed in 1870 Mercer County census] 3 James R. Hall June 8, 1847 4 Charles Hall September 1, 1848 5 Byrd J. Hall February 8, 1850 in Floyd County 6 William B.
