James Dee found a job laying railroad track to Crane Creek, met a beautiful Indian maiden, Alma Dunford (Parents were of the Blackfeet and Sious Indian tribes), married her and began a family. Children were Lewis Alva, Ruby, Grace, Eunice, Lester, Woodrow, Buddy and Wade. Ervin Houstin Dunford was born July 16, 1909, in Montcalm WV.
