These are the surnames I am researching in Mercer Co. James Dunbar, b. abt 1856, father Alexander DUNBAR, b. abt 1833 in Botetourt Co VA and mother Nancy K. MANN b. 20 November 1832 in Mercer Co. Nancy's parents were Hezekiah MNN and Elizabeth SHANKLIN. James was married to Eliza Jane DODSON. Eliza Jane's parents were Frederick William DODSON b. abt 1821 in Patrick Co VA and Sarah AKERS b. abt. 1835 in Franklin Co VA. Not sure of any of these dates--the research is not mine.
