Lovern 6/3/1953-6/3/1953 Steven P. Lovern 5/1953-1953 Methodist Hill Cemetery located at Montcalm Fitzhugh Lee Lovern 8/21/1900-2/20/1936 In 1912, J.C. Carter along with Sam Mason and "Uncle Bill" Lovern bought The Stag, a men's clothing store, from Grover Bowling. Mason and Lovern were silent partners and Carter managed the business. Clarence Lovern was storekeeper at the store that was in Lovern at the old Pine-Morgan home. Coolidge Lovern, nephew of Clarence owns and lives in the old Pine-Morgan-Lovern mansion. Dewey Lovern was a son of Clarence Lovern. The book says the Loverns are buried in the front of the cemetery at the Pine-Morgan home but does not list the names of the Loverns. Hope this helps.
