Granger Harmon Gore (born 7/13/1863 at big Island Creek, WV; died 6/8/1937 in Princeton, WV; buried Speedway, WV) married 5/3/1883 in Mercer Co, WVA to Lucy Wilson Vaught (born 6/1/1860 in Galia Co, MO; died 4/21/1921; buried Speedway, WV) who was the daughter of Ransom and Minerva vaught. sometime prior 1900, Granger and three of his brothers reportedly went out west, possibly to Washington and on to the gold fields in the Yukon Territory. This is substantiated by the lack of their names in the 1900 Mercer county Census although their wives and children were listed. He was a farmer and teimberman most of his life. Davis; after divorce, married 2nd to Lucy Emma Shorter(born 7/29/1894;died 9/11/1966) who was the idow of Samuel Colburn; after divorce, married 3rd prior 1937 to Letha Leota Pettrey (born 1897/1898 in Athens, WVA); after divorce, married 4th on 2/18/1950 in Athens, WV to Juanita Mudder Wilson (born 1911/1912); after divorce, married 5th on 7/14/1953 in Princeton, WV to his previous wife Letha Leota Pettrey; after divorce married 6th to Mattie A. She is best known as "Sallie". Frank Jordan Gore (born 3/19/1893 in Mercer Co. Frank was a farmer and a timberman. He had one daughter by his first wife, four children by his second wife, and two children by his third wife. Lucy Zell Gore (born 9/11/1900 in Mercer Co, WV) married 1st on 12/22/1914 in Mercer Co, WV to James Sterling Bridges Sr. (born 8/28/1894 in Mercer Co, WV; died 4/2/1937; buried Speedway, WVA) who was the son of Robert Bridges and Mary Melissa Philips; married 2nd to Otis Lee Fletcher; married 2rd to Frank Tildon Lam.
