Minerva A. Gore (born 1839; died 5/22/1880 in Mercer County, WVA) married on 6/8/1859 in MercerCounty, VA to Allen Thompson (born 4/1834 in Mercer Coun, VA) wh was the son of James and Lucy A. Thompson. They had nin children all of whom were born in Mercer county, VA/WV J. M. Thompson, a son (born 1861 A.N. Thompson, a daughter (born 1863) Ida M. Thompson (born 4/1865) married _______Hanks A. A. thompson, a son (born 1866) R. L. Thompson, a son (born 1868). F. T. thompson, a son (born 1869) Virginia Thompson (born (1873) Charles Thompson (born 1876) Walter Thompson (born 4/1878) Granger Harmon Gore (born 1844; died between 1861 and 1865).
