Martin (born 1852 in Mercer Co) married 1st 9/4/1872 in Mercer Co, to Julian Victoria White (bron 1856 in Mercer Co; possible did 12/15/1876 in Mercer Co) who was the daughter of Andrew andElizabeth White; married 2nd of 3/29/1883 in Mercer County to Sarah Hearn (born 1853 in Mercer Co) wh was the daughter of Levi G. and Ora Hearn. He and his first wife had three children Lemuel L. Martin (born 1874 in Mercer Co) married 6/3/1896 inMercer Co to Rhoda C. Lilly (born 1879 in Mercer Co) who was the daughter of Johnston K. Lilly and Albama D. Gore. Rhoda C. was possibly nicknamed "Lessie." Since there is some confusion as to the number and names of their children. Martin (born 11/17/1896 in Mercer County) Married 10/13/1913 in Mercer County to William Carl Palmer (?) (born 1888 in VA) Sadie L. Martin (born 3/21/1889 in Mercer County) married 10/30/1915 in Mercer Co to James Rowland (born 1880 in VA). He was a widower. Her date of birth is also listed as 3/22/1889. Minnie Ann Martin (born 12/14/1891 in Concord, WV) Hallie D. Martin (born 12/18/1891 in Mercer Co; died 1/22/1973; buried Athens Cemetery) married Andrew Mickle(?)
