    2. FORWARDED TO OUR MERCER COUNTY AND BELCHER SURNAME LISTS ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Joyce Parker <joyce7parker@yahoo.com> Date: Nov 10, 2007 10:02 PM Subject: Re: [WVWYOMIN] Cemetery Laws in West Virginia To: wvwyomin@rootsweb.com Hey, does anyone have any information on Abraham Belcher and Sidney Blakely Belcher -- Abraham died in Aug 1873. He lived in Wyoming County and was the son of John Belcher and Elizabeth Hunt Belcher. Sidney (Siddy) was the daughter of Wiley Blakely. Does anyone have any information on this family and where he may be buried? Abraham was first married to Malinda Jane Russell (am assuming she died before 1860), they had 3 sons (James, John and George). He married Sidney Blakely in 1861 and they had 4 sons (William b. 1868, Levi b. Apr 1866, Noah b. Apr 1864, and Hiram b. Mar 1862) and 1 daughter (Melinda Jane b. Feb 1870 who assuming died shortly after born since she wasn't on the 1870 census). Thanks for any help possible.
