There is no way I would send my 16,000 person gedcom out to a complete stranger. When asking for help you should tell what you know about the family and offer to share info. It seems like the last few years there have been more and more people writing and saying, "Send me everything you have", then getting upset when I offer to share their one line for several generations of ancestors.
