Hi Tracey, Sorry to take so long to get back to you. My computer is down at home and I had to come to the library to use theirs. I'm assuming the guy I dated could be a grandson. I'm glad I could be of some help to you...hopefully you will be able to fill in your blanks eventually. Willa Tracey Wilder <traewilder@bex.net> wrote: Willa, Thanks for the SSDI info. Thanks to you and Jain and a bit more info and searching on my end, I've learned this is indeed my guy. He was 57 at the time of his death in 1963; I suspect he's not the guy you dated, but the "E.H." initials are at least two generations deep, and the Emory name goes a bit deeper than that in this line. Possibly you dated a son or grandson? Small world. ;) I haven't filled in his descendants (he's a brother to my gr-grandma), but I wouldn't be surprised to find this is the right guy. The family was definitely in Raleigh Co, by the way. Hi Tracey, I don't know if this cemetery has been indexed, but I have a phone number and email addy where you can get in touch with them: Phone: (304) 256 8625 and the email is blueridgefuneralhome@stei.com The only Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens that I know of is here in Raleigh County. Does the obit you have state Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Mercer County? I used to date a Hutton boy out of Amigo in the early 90's, but when we broke up, it wasn't on friendly terms and I haven't spoken to him since. This guy's dad was called "E. H." by his family and friends and I think the "E" stood for Emery, but he may be related to the Emmitt you are looking for. His number is listed in the phone book, (304) 294 4401, maybe you could give him a call. Hope this helps. Willa Tracey Wilder <traewilder@bex.net> wrote: Has this cemetery been indexed? Hello - I would like to find where my ggg grandparents Robert and Mary (Giles) Stewart are buried. They died in the 1860s and lived between Princeton and Bluefield. Is there an index for cemetaries?
