Linda I have "Lillies on the Bluestone", but you still have to be carefull, for he had errors in it, but I tried to track the worksheet that he had a picture of in the book, but the individual was no longer living at the address and his wife, was not happy with me calling and told me that he lived in the south with his son and she was not the lease bit helpful. Some of the information that this gentleman had given Sanders on the Meadow's family was incorrect. Sanders based a lot of what he was saying on it. Was not able to verify the source of the information. But than, you have to careful will all information that you get, no matter where it comes from. Doris They were selling them in Hinton, West Virginia, a couple of years ago, so at that time they were not out of print. I wish that I had gotten them, didn't have the money on me at the time. It is like all the other lines that I am starting to link to. No one know about them. It seen when my direct line left it lost contact with everyone after them, so when the research was done. No one knew that we existed from any line. Glad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!to meet a new cousin. I would love to have the information. I got part of my information from LDS and some from the people on the different list, Summers, Raleigh, etc. and also from Genforum. This is my line... I'm from Littleberry Vest and BOTH of his spouses!! I recently found someone who has written a book, mostly from the William Turnwell Vest line. That included individuals that had moved out of Virginia area and lost touch with my branches. I have also found some folks who have a "Valentine Vest" in place of Moses Vest. I have the reference of Moses Vest in a booklet passed out at a Vest reunion around 1906. I have wondered at times if it may have been an inside joke... crossing the sea, etc... Does anyone have any other documentation on Moses??? Would be great to find. The good thing about the Vest line is it's pretty well researched and gathered and it's quite complete. By the way, Sandra and others, let me know if you are working/ interested in more information... my text file on this line is over 100 pages (too long for the digest). You can get them by writing to him at this address William Sanders 320 Courthouse Road Princeton, West Virginia 24740 He recently fell and broke a hip but is doing well now. Write and ask for a price list. The books are cheaper if you buy directly from him.

Hi all, All information that you get, especially what I am sending, is just a starting point and must be verified yourself. All this information was submitted by other people and not verified by the Historical Society so don't take it as being correct without checking it out. Linda,Roanoke,VA
Hi Doris, An attorney in Princeton, WV, William Sanders has written a four volume set of books called A New River Heritage. They are not and never will be best sellers, but he has a lot of information in them. In his volume 2, she has pages and pages of information about Josiah Meador, including your Elizabeth Meador. Since Mr. Sanders is still alive and, I think, his books are still available I would not feel comfortable typing out a lot of information from his books. You could probably buy a copy from Mr. Sanders. They cost about $30 to $35 each. If Volume II is not available any more and you get written approval from Mr. Sanders for me to send you the information I will be happy to copy and send it to you. I would have to have the written approval, however. Don't want to run afoul of the law, especially with an attorney. Mr. Sanders is an extremely nice man and if the book is not available I feel sure he would agree to either send you the information or for me to send it to you. Linda,Roanoke,VA
Linda, thank you. I'll try to call first chance. Sue / Roanoke, VA
