I am seeking family and descendant information on a Joshua "Josh" Reed who was born in Monroe Co., WV c 1870 but lived and worked most of his life in the eastern and central parts of Princeton, Mercer Co., WV, probably within a mile of Mercer Street and the downtown area. He was apparently married twice (widowed once) and had had two children by his first wife: A Mabel C. (Reed) Tucker (bc 1897; married Edwin C. Tucker of Princeton c 1919; dc 1970s) and a William "Bill" Reed (bc 1900; married and moved to the Detroit, MI area; died there~year unknown). Josh's second marriage was apparently late in life and, for whatever reason, didn't last too long. He apparently continued to work in the railroad shops in the east end of Princeton for many years, and probably retired from there at some point during the 1930s. Supposedly, Josh and his daughter Mabel (Reed) Tucker are buried in one of the public cemeteries in Princeton, although I have yet to find their grave locations. In any event, any further family or descendant information concerning Joshua "Josh" Reed (c 1870 - c 1952) would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Bob

Bob:::::I just found the address problem. Your first spelling was """anglefire""""". Your last address spelling is """"angelfire"""". What a difference one or two letters make. I have noticed, lately, that there are many listers that do not proof-read and edit their messages, before clicking "send". These remarks are not to condemn, but, to make some of us more aware, that, as has been noted, recently, that all of these transmissions, are in the permanent records, where others may be reading, many years, from now.
