Since I have been having a problem getting my msgs transmitted, I am trying once again. Please forgive me if you have already received this. I'm for searching info on my g-grandfather James (Jim) STANLEY, b. ca. 1850 in VA (which is now WV). Married Amanda M. Harman in Jan. 1875 in McDowell Co., WV. James' parents were George B. and Lucinda STANLEY. I think he had a brother, Avary (not verified) and there were possibly other children. I have been at this dead-end for almost three years. James and Amanda STANLEY probably lived all their lives in McDowell Co. Amanda died in McDowell Co. in July 1933. Any info at all would really be appreciated. Thanks, Barbara
