Once we receive something definite will advise. 2. Belcher: My family and I lived in Welch, Wva. from 1941 through 1956. Subsequently in 1985 a "Welch and its People" was published , which wrote about the History of the small town - once titled 'The Little New York City" during the coal boom years, and because of the cosmopolitan development - a melting pot of people so to speak. A time span from 1800 to 1985 was covered and various families were/are depicted in the Book. Pending when they arrived on the scene, determined where they were listed.
