Hello Brenda and Pam, I have a 1860 Census of McDowell Co. WV (The 1st Census). It lists a John Collins as follows; John Collins, age 63, M, Farmer, bn. VA Lidia " , age 63, F, bn. VA Ira " , age 23, M, bn. VA There is a notation that this family appears in 1850 Tazewell Co. VA Census on page or family #1035. There are 2 more John Collins in this 1860 McDowell Co. VA/WV Census that are adults with wife and children.
