Howdy, group, I see we are listing ancestors from McDowell, so here are mine, all from the Iaeger and Davy area: great-grandparents (2 sets!): Will and Julia Ann (Faulkner) Sebastian: lived just across the bridge from "the Iaeger metropolitan area" where Dave kept a fine still hidden in his chicken coop Will and Julia Sebastian had the following children: Hobert/Henry (died young) Ersa Jane (my maternal grandmother; married Claude Garner, and a couple of others; moved to VA) Nora Ann (married Rbt. Mosby; both were school teachers, resided in Panther) Laike (married Joe Crozier; Laike taught school; I was named for her) Cecile Blanch "Bunt" Phyllis Grace "Pinky" Lacey Paul Revere "Snooks" Theodore Roosevelt "Ted" Charlotte Marie (died at age 18 mos.) my other great-grandparents: Dave and Amanda (Cline) Garner were hotel and saloon keepers for years; hotel Cleo in Iaeger was named for their daughter Cleo; Dave and Amanda moved to Norfolk, VA their children: Claude Homer(married Ersa Sebastian, divorced; 3 children including my mom) Zoe (married Wm. Birkelbach) John Hardy (married Sally Coleman) Clara Frances june (married Jos. Manfield) Cleo Ruth (married Carl Cullop) David Jr. "Buddy" My mom was Connie Garner, went to Iaeger High School, graduated late 1930's; married Frank Newton; Mom was a dance band vocalist and later professional artist in Tampa FL; she died in 1988.)
