    3. Depends on the time frame and the locaity.Huntington Hearld Dispatch carries a lot of Mason County obits , mostly in the Easterly area. Any obit after June 2000 is acailable and printable on their web page . Charleston Gazette , carries them for some and only is free archives for 2 weeks . I don't have any info on the Point Pleasant newspapers ,Mason County Library has a great library of micro films. What surnames are you looking for ? Cabell County has a micro films of HHD back to about 1900 , Marshall U. Library has many different papers. I am doing my wife's family tree, which is basically in Mason County, West Virginia. Is there a county wide newspaper that I might go to to obtain Death Notices, or will I have to rely on Townships in the county. Like would a paper published in Point Pleasant be used by all the funeral homes in the county. If so, would there be a library in the county that would have microfilms of that paper where I can get someone to do lookups for me?
