I have a death date of 17 February 1871 for the death of Isaac E. Lewis.  He drowned in the Ohio River near Mason, West Virginia.  Can any one get me any information on this.   I can find no proof and have looked for several years.  I do not know if a body was found, if he was buried or where or why he drowned.  Accident, ship, work, fishing.  Feburary seems like an  odd time.
