    3. If there is anything in the newspaper, it would be a one liner I am afraid... unless he was of some prominence in the county... I don't know about what papers are at Mason Co. Library,  I don't know if they have enough staff to handle lookups, you might contact them. Lewis.  He drowned in the Ohio River near Mason, West Virginia.  Can any one get me any information on this.   I can find no proof and have looked for several years.  I do not know if a body was found, if he was buried or where or why he drowned.  Accident, ship, work, fishing.  Feburary seems like an  odd time.
