Can anyone tell me when the state of WV started requiring marriage records and where those records are kept now. I'm interested in the years 1877-1879 in Mason Co. I have been to the Mason Co., Court House in Point Pleasant, WV and I believe that the birth and death records start in 1853. Not quite sure of Marriage Records.
