thank you Ron well our passport was put on hold because of a delayed birth record and they sent us a form to fill out to get the census for the year I was born which was 1946 because I need to prove my age and parents and the form wants $65.00 for the census records and its from the US department of commerce US census bur. so maybe this is for only people that needs it for passports I guess I will call them in the morning and see what they say thanks
