I have been trying to get some information about George and Mary (MNU) Thornton. They lived in Point Pleasant area when it was in Greenbrier, then Kanawha, then Mason County. George and Mary dad 7 children: Catherine Thornton LeMasters, Andrew Thornton, George W. Thornton, Sally Thornton Lewis, John Thornton, Polly Thornton White, and Nancy Thornton White. George had a daughter, Peggy, from a second marriage. Nancy Thornton White is my 4th Great Grandmother. I have been unable to find any family information for George and Mary, my 5th Great Grandparents. I can find them both in early court records, but not a trace of their family origins.
