Barbara, To add to what Julie has told you about Graham Station... It is just up river (east) of New Haven and down river (west) of Racine Locks and the town of Letard along the Ohio River. There is a coal fired electrical power plant called Phillip Sporn (owned by American Electric Power or AEP) at Graham Station. The area called Broad Run is in the hills behind (south) of Graham Station. The creek called Broad Run flows north to join Seaman Run and they empty into the Ohio River at New Haven. The Little Broad runs at the foot of the hills in the river valley and skirts the edge of Graham Station. Besides the Phillip Sporn Plant, there is a fairly new (1950-60?) cemetery at Graham Station (my dad, grandparents and other family are buried there). Try searching on TopoZone.com for "Graham Station" or "New Haven." TopoZone.com has USGS (United States Geological Survey) maps and they will show you the exact location. Hope this helps, Tom -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, August 30, 2000 1:32 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [WVMASON] RE:BIRTH CERTIFICATES Hi List, Does anyone know where Graham Station WVA is located(county)and if they would have birth or death certificates back to 1836 or where I would write to for the information? Also where would I write for a birth certificate for Mason County in 1889 and what is the cost?
