Julie You sent me the attached e-mail back in April 1999. I know it has been a long time, but I have a couple questions. 1. Do you do Newell research? 2. Are the dates you provided in the e-mails marriage dates? 3. Where did these dates come from, they would not have been in the census. 4. Your notes V 2 p 006 and V 2 p 006, what does this refer to? I appreciate any help you can provide. I am looking for someone who has done research on this family. It is not my direct line, but my grandfather, Andrew Hughes, married Flora Newell in 1874 just a few months before she died. He then lived with the Newells till about 1883 when he remarried my g grandmother, Marie Elizabeth Knappenberger. He named my grandfather after Flora's father, naming him William Preston Hughes. Thanks Dan Grammer "Hesson, Julie" wrote: > Dan, > I don't know if you have these dates, so am sending them. > > Julie Hesson > [email protected] > > Dan Grammer wrote: > Preston > > Newell or Newal with his wife Rebecca in the 1870 Census. > > NEWEL, Preston & PARSONS, Rebecca *11 Dec 1854 V 02 p 006 > > >Preston with his parents Jacob and Frances in the Mason Co 1850 census. > > NEWELL, Jacob & JACKSON, Mary 28 Sep 1819 V 01 p 006 > > > > > > Dan Grammer
