I am finding a connection to a family called Pease .I find no family in Mason co 1850 census called Pease but two girls, Mary Jane(md Asel Anderson in 1855 in Mason co) and Elizabeth (married John J. White in 1858 in Mason co) and go to Meigs co. Oh...Of course they must have come to the Mason Co area after 1850.....Could this name be mispelled and be Pearse in 1860 Mason Co census ..and maybe on to Pearce in later years? This family maybe from Wales...Any help on this line would be appreciated.
