If I have offended anyone, then please accept my apologies. As I have researched my family history for almost 20 years, many people have shared information freely with me. I also have shared information whenever I could help anyone. With the growth of the internet and web resources to help all geneaologists, I have found a great deal of information via the web. My only purpose in posting my message was to share information with others. Compiling the marriages of Mason County has been something I have been interested in for a number of years. I have had the microfilm of the marriage books and indexes at the local LDS library for about 9 years. This summer, I have had time to finally work on a project that I have wanted to for a long time. I will continue to do so as time permits. I will also continue to post the data on my web page. Please note that I am using microfilm copies of the original marriage books, from Mason County. I am going page by page through the marriage records, not just the index book. This information appears to be just as accurate as if you are looking at the real book in the County Clerk's office in Point Pleasant.
