Trying to find the parents and date of birth of William M. Jones was born in Mason County in the approximate year of 1790. William M. Jones married Mary Colewell supposedly in Mason County March 25, 1811 (unconfirmed). According to census records they had six children one of which Jesse Lestridge Jones of whom I am a direct descendant. In the 1830 Mason county census, Mary Jones is shown a head of household.
