Hi Mary Lee, Sorry to say that I have not had any luck locating the parents of Walker Walker and Malinda Morrow. I have thought about the names of Thomas and James as being the father of Walker Walker and even read the bio of Dr. Thomas Walker who did a lot of exploring throughout Virginia and Kentucky in the late 1700's. But Dr. Walker lived in northern Virginia and stayed there except when traveling - he was very interesting. He also had a son Thomas who could ?? be a possibility but very little info is available on him and from what I have found he also stayed in northern Virginia. I thought I had a lead when I found someone else looking for info on William Walker Walker and wife Malinda Morrow with son Robert F. The lady that was looking said she also hit a brick wall on their parents. She also said it was family history that his name was William Walker Walker. I sent her the info on the rest of the children of Walker Walker. I checked Ancestry's census for 1810 and found a Elverton Walker Kanawha County, Cabin Creek District and a Randolph Walker Kanawha County, Kanawha District. Both had male children under 10 years of age. I had been leaning toward Randolph Walker because he was in Kanawha Co., in 1810 and in 1820 he was in Mason County and in 1830 he disappeared and Walker Walker was listed with family in Mason County. I still think Elmore Walker of Gallia County could be Walker Walker's brother, he was from Virginia. His daughter Margaret Walker married Thomas Walker and they had a son named Elmore. Margaret and Thomas's son Elmore was named for her father, I guess. Margaret and Thomas could be first cousins or maybe not, I just don't know. I was hoping you could find out who Elmore Walker's parents were from a death certificate or something. Elmore Walker died between 1850 and 1860 - same period that Walker Walker died. Another avenue would be "land records" in Mason County. But I live in Florida and don't think I will ever get back to Point Pleasant to check out the land records. All of the male children had land with no mortgage that I can find and they all lived right next to one another according to the census. Sorry this is so long, got carried away. Donzella
