Looking for the Wife of Richard FORD. Richard was in Mason Co., VA from 1820 - 1827, when he died intestate. He and his Wife may have come from Fauquier Co., VA (there is a Richard FORD there that leaves the PPT listings about that time). They had four Sons and two or three Daughters: Emily, Eliza (?), Mary, Alonzo, William, Aldridge & Marshall (Eliza may have been his Wife). Richard was given 400 acres for $1 in 1826 from the Children (and their spouces) of Howell LEWIS' Estate. Howell died in Mason Co. in 1822 and was a neighbor of Richards (according to the visitation dates on PPT listings). I was thinking this must mean Richard married a LEWIS, but as yet have not found a relative of Howell's that fits.
