As to my inquiry on the WVMASON list, I have a Joseph Mayes who's death certificate says his parents were John Mayes and Julia White. I had previously recorded Joseph as being the son of John Mayes and Julia Eads, but apparently that's wrong, unless Julia Eads and Julia White are the same person.
