Ronni, I'll be interested in knowing the answer to your question, too. I have many Eads(Edes, Edds) and Mayes (Mays, Mayse) in my database. I am a ggg-granddaughter of Joseph Alford Eads (1780- 1853) and Judah (aka Julia) Doss (bef.1784-1830/40) of VA who settled in Mason County in the early 1800s through their daughter Mary Ann Eads (1814-1874) who m. Richard Bush (b.1812 or 1814 -d.1874) . However, I do not see either a Julia Eads or a Joseph Mayes in my database although I'm sure they're connected.
