William Vincent died in the Civil War. His parents lived in Meigs in the 1850's. Emily was much younger than her brother William. Anyway, William's daughter Mariah Vincent married Joseph Henry Proffitt who was the son of James Proffitt and Matilda Roush. Matilda was a double Roush--a daughter of Michael and Mary Roush Roush. Uriah and Mariah moved to Mason around the Civil War and Uriah was dead before the 1880 census.
