    3. Hi there. I also think that it is a good idea to restate what families we are looking for. I am researching the Chapman and Jenkins family lines. This is the family of my father-in-law. The furthest back I have researched is William Henry Chapman, born around 1830, and William A. Jenkins, born 1862. One of the things I am looking into is any possible family tie to Brigadier General Albert G. Jenkins of the CSA. Because they are from the same area, and William was also the name of Albert's father, I believe they are related, but cannot prove that yet. If anyone has any information on these families, or are researching the same families, I'd love to hear from you.
