Your search criteria is pretty wide and unspecific however, my gggrandfather William Jones (occupation unknown) was in Mason County between 1820-1830; His son Jesse L. Jones was a "boat caulker" in Mason county 1927-1870's. Jesse by the way was married (1854) to Sarah Francis Walker who was the daughter of Walker Walker and Melinda Morrow Walker. They lived in the Clendenin district next door to her brother David Walker. I have some other info on the Walkers if you are interested. Hope this helps> Richard Jones -----Original Message----- From: wvmason-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:wvmason-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Nancy Chase Sent: Wednesday, August 29, 2007 5:23 PM To: wvmason@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [WVMASON] Walker Walker & Malinda Morrow Walker Am looking for William, Jesse, or David Ferguson (all carpenters), Thomas, Georgia Womack/Wamack, and Grant, Georgia, Mertie May Fishers in Mason County 1811 - 1920 or so. Could you do a lookup in your History of Mason Co. for these names for me? Thanks. I just wish I lived close enough to do that. To Karin in Texas, I have a picture of Gideon Morrow, if you send me your email address, I will send it to you. I have some info on Morrows but since I cannot connect to Malinda (b. abt. 1803 Kentucky) I haven't sorted it all out. I also have the book "History of Mason County" 1987 with an article on the Morrow family. My email address is fmullen1@tampabay.rr.com Donzella
