Just to let all know what fire people were talking about.There were three fires that I know of in March1869 the Preston Co Courthouse burns:all records are destroyed.Charleston was appointed the permanent State capital in1885,In 1921 the State Capitol at Charleston is Destroyed by fire.In 1927--Fire destroys the temporary "pasteboard capitol" built after the old capitol burned in 1921.This is from the WV Timeline.
