From the Columbus Ohio Dispatch - 2/19/2001.. KNAPP Delbert Gale Knapp, age 78, of Point Pleasant, W.Va., died February 17, 2001 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Oh. He was a member of Krebs Chapel Church in Pt. Pleasant. He attended Harvey Chapel Church in Leon, W.Va. and Grace Memorial Church in Columbus, Oh. Born August 26, 1922 in Leon, W.Va. to the late George M. and Myrtle (Cossin) Knapp. Delbert was also preceded in death by 2 sisters Opal Baker and Lora Carney, 2 brothers Mose Knapp and Rev. Okey Knapp, and nephew George A. Wooten. Survivors include a sister, Mary DeWees of Columbus; sister-in-law, Helen Knapp of Grove City; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Wednesday 2 p.m. Rev. Lee Tabor officiating.
