Hello Everybody: You may be interested in our new website, which is a memorial to the 13th West Virginia Volunteer Infantry. Alot of the soldiers in this regiment were from Mason Co. You can visit the site at: http://www.13wvi.com/index.htm Among lots of other things, the site includes a comprehensive history of the regiment and a soldier roster. There is also a section entitled "Soldier Information and Researchers." This is a compilation of the names and e-mail addresses of people who have contacted us with information about particular soldiers. One of the things we hope to do is to connect researchers with soldier-interests in common. We hope to keep improving the site, and adding new researcher names and soldier information to the list.
