The Point Pleasant Register started as a weekly newspaper in 1862 and is still in business as a daily paper. I do believe the library may have those and also there were a couple of other papers that they have. Best bet would be to write to them and ask their address is 508 Viand Street, Point Pleasant, WV 25550.
