    3. Were your ancestors married in Mason County, WV? Three years ago, Clearfield Co., division of Genealogical Publishing Co., Baltimore, MD, published my compilation of the 11,000+ earliest marriages in Mason Co., from 1806-1915. It has been out of print for more than a year. I have arranged a special reprint with the publisher, to make the book available to those who want a copy, or want to place a copy in their local library's, or genealogical society's, collection. But there is an order deadline, which has been extended to Labor Day, and a printing minimum of 30. My apologies to all listmembers and list owners; I realize I am violating Rootsweb's rules, in even mentioning this; but, to make the information available before the deadline, I know of no other way to "get the word out." If we don't get orders for 30 books, then no one gets any books. I will make no profit on this, as I will assume the postage expense, and will autograph each book ordered. Please email me privately for price, etc. Thank you for your patience. Julie Hesson Aberdeen, OH

    3. Cynthia and Listers.... I'd appreciate any info on this Walter Charles Lucas fellow as well. I have an obscure gr grandmother whose name was Catherine Gilpin. At one time she was married to a Charles Lucas (they were married 1876 in Wood County) and had children Martin, Ike, and Mandy. At some point she married Henry Miller of Mason County and they lived in Mason. With Henry she had William (died unmarried) and Rachel (who was my great grandmother; married to Thomas Gorrell and lived in northern Jackson County) I beleive that my Catherine and her Charles were divorced, but I cant prove that. I have little further information on any of these folks...its a more than a brick wall. Its a brick prison! 1. [WVMASON] Perry family
    2. Cynthia Cocker
    3. Hi! I'm trying to find out who my great great grandparents' parents were and their siblings' names. My gg-grandfather, Henry T. Perry, and my gg-grandmother, McClelland Harmon/Harmod had a daughter named Lula May, born September 10, 1896 in Mason County. I don't know anything at all about g-grandma Lula's siblings or anything about Henry and McClelland, other than their names. I can assume that McClelland's mother's maiden name may have been McClelland. Does anyone have any information on this family or access to any of the Mason County censuses between (and including) 1850 and 1900? Thank you! Cynthia Cocker
