    3. George, your name on the Mason County list caught my attention. I have a George E. Sanborn, (1870-1958), son of Daniel Johnson Sanborn and Sarah E. Peeples in my father's family line and wondered if he might be part of your family. George E. lived in Meigs and Athens counties, OH, directly across the OH River from Mason County, WV.     3. I know it's early, but The Gallia County Historical & Genealogical Society would like to announce the new Christmas Bulb for 2010 is in and ready for sale. This year it is the "Ice Piers" that were put in the river(way back when......) to help break up the ice on the Ohio River. The price will probably remain the same as last year.
