OH Cool! Like I was saying last night I haven't really gotten that far with the Nibert's. I'm starting on those tonight. I have to get in touch with her but I'd be happy to share info with you . There is also a Nibert Book (or is it a Burrows book) at the Lib of Congress from what I've read on a posting on Ancestry, and is available on interlibrary loan. I will e-mail you tomorrow for sure. No one in particular. Burrows is my birth name and they're related to the Niberts. William Franklin Nibert married my adoptive Aunt Pauline but as it turns out we're bio family. I'm in the process of making a genealogical tree <spellings not so good> and I'm finding aunts, uncles and cousins I didn't know I had (this is exciting to me as I was an only child growing up) and I just wondered if there were more out there. Thanks Jan

my ggggrandfathers brother Eli Butcher was from Meigs and Mason co w va and he was in a camp hospital in camp Dennison ohio, down by cincinnati
Hello all - I searched the archives and various other sources trying to find the possible location of hospitals during the Civil War. Ancestor in one March 1863 to February 1864, after which he was transferred to the US General Hospital in Gallipolis. I am only aware of the Trinity United Methodist Church being used as such. Does anybody know of others? Schools? Barns? etc? Thanks!! Debbie
Contact Cheryl Enyart (trayne1837inc@yahoo.com). several years ago she did a study of the several in Gallia Co. Cheryl may have further info. Hello Listers, Can anyone tell me how many Lone Oak cemeteries there are in Point Pleasant? I assumed there was only one, but now I hear that there might be two, an "Old Lone Oak Cemetery" and apparently a newer one, just "Lone Oak Cemetery." Can anyone confirm that? Thanks, George Sanborn Canada
There are technically two, but both are in the same area. It is a rather large cemetery (for Point Pleasant) that is split down the middle by Sandhill Road. Lone Oak is on the right and New Lone Oak is on the left. ----- Original Message ----- From: "George F. Thank you for replying. In 1898 a Thomas Drew died at Lock 11 and buried Lone Oak Cemetery on Nov 28 1898. I sincerely doubt there is a headstone. Death Register says he was a widower so I am very interested in anyone in that cemetery with the last name Drew.
