Thanks Gwen and Linda for your responses to my question about when Birth records in Marshall County began. I am trying to find out the parents of Tylee/Tyler Clayton, born about 1820 in Virginia and married Mary Bush in 1840. They lived in Marshall County. I believe he is the son of my 3rd great grandfather, Tylee/Tyler Clayton and Sarah Krewson, who were of Phila PA. Tylee (Sr) seems to have disappeared after the 1830 Census of PA and doesn't show up again until 1856 in Phila. The name Tylee seems uncommon enough that there has to be a relationship.
