Hi All, I have a question about part of an inscription that was on my g-g-g-g-grandmothers gravestone. She died in 1881. At the bottom of the inscription on the headstone, on its own line, was, "Died in her 90th year". 1) Does that mean she was 90 yrs-old on her last birthday before she died, 2) Or does it mean she was 89 on her last birthday and she is in her 90th year (but, has not lived out her 90th year)? For example: if I were 1 and a half years old when I died; I would actually be half way through my second year of life, so it would be correct to say that I "died in my second (2nd) year". Even though I was not 2 years old at the time of my death. Thanks for any help in advance!!! garry
